Last Sunday, we went to Sunday Morning (SunMor) to have a breakfast and to sightseeing, hehehe. Sunday Morning is kind of once-a-week-market where they sell everything from street foods, clothes, drinks, ice cream, bags, shoes, hats, and many more.
Here's how SunMor looked:
crowd! people everywhere. |
We stopped by this nail-art stand and tried a bit.
cute bottles! |
sexy bottles, hehehe |
We decided to buy three bottles of nail polish (we'll show you soon!).
After walked for a moment, we saw these cute hats.
we were wondering if they have the cat and hedgehog hats |
the one with brown polka-dot ribbons looks cute... |
Hats, hats everywhere. |
There were so many choices.
If we suddenly get hungry, we can buy anything since there are sooooooooo many food (and street-snack) stalls in SunMor! We decided to buy some and ate it while walking.
this was delicious! (and cheap!) |
We found a takoyaki corner after walking for minutes. We decided to buy it.
the takoyaki is been cooked. |
Normally the seller give 4 tako-balls, but with Helga's bargain technique, we got five! Hehe
so yummy!
Our next stop was a bag store. Almost all bags in this store are made of leather. There were so many different types, sizes, and colors.
We heard the seller says that their products are hand-made! Cool! |
And I found this super cute duck-back-pack in other store.
(This one is Kate's fav - Helga)
Oh. My. God. |
We moved on to the next store.
some unique key chains, I think they're hand-made |
Helga found this cute sign |
We kept on walking, and found this corner. These are piggy-banks. There were so many colors, and you can ask the seller to write your name on it. I believe this tube-like piggy-banks are hand made, too.
Not-so-pig piggy bank |
Not so far from the piggy-bank corner, we stopped at the magazine corner. All the magazines here are in English. Kate usually buy CatFancy magazine here, but unfortunately there was no exemplar of CatFancy last week.
that cooking magazine looks interesting |
And then we continued. We found this corner, which sells many types of boxes. You can put your accessories or jewelry inside it.
beautiful boxes |
Oh, and they also sell hamsters! There were so many of them. I never buy any, though, but I think if you want to buy one of them, you can also buy the cage, foods, and sands.
this thing can be REALLY CUTE! |
Our next stop was this plastic plants corner. They were so beautiful. Helga wanted to buy one for her room, but she hesitated, and she said she will come again on the next SunMor.
I want the pink one! |
They sell some action figures, too. We usually find Conan, One Piece, and Naruto.
always crowded with boys, guys, and dads
We finally found our favorite corner! This is (if I'm not mistaken) a corner from
Jogja Toys. They sell many hand-made accessories, some of them (I think) are imported from Korea or Japan.
Kate's favorite shop |
super cute!! |
Helga's favorite |
Helga's wish list |
Can you decide what to buy on SunMor? We often can not because there are so many good things!
xoxo Kate.
